仲兄於豐山驛。見題壁一詩。曰。世上無人識俊才。黃金誰爲築高臺。邊霜染盡靑靑鬢。疋馬陰山十往來。辭氣感慨。甚佳作也。問之郵卒。曰。兵營軍官孫萬戶所題也。

Korean Translation
중형이 풍산(豐山) 역에서 벽에 쓴 시 한 수를 보니 세상에는 준재를 알아 줄 이 없는데 / 世上無人識俊才 누굴 위해 황금으로 높은 대를 쌓았나 / 黃金誰爲築高臺 변방 서리 검푸른 귀밑털 다 물들이니 / 邊霜染盡靑靑鬢 필마(匹馬)로 음산을 열 번이나 오가네 / 疋馬陰山十往來 라 했다. 말 기운이 감개하고 매우 훌륭하여 우졸(郵卒)에게 누구의 작품인 가고 물었더니 병영 군관 손만호(孫萬戶)가 지은 것이라고 했다 한다.

English Translation

My second brother saw a poem written on the wall of P’ungsan station, which read, 世上無人識俊才黃金誰爲築高臺邊霜染盡靑靑鬢疋馬陰山十往來 No one in this world recognizes great talent.In gold for whom did they build a tall terrace?Frontier frosts completely tinted my dark dark sideburns.On horseback, I have passed the Yin Mountains ten times. Full of emotion (kamgae) in its tone (sagi), it was an outstanding (ka) poem. When he asked a post-guard, he replied, “The poem is by Son Manho 孫萬戶 (16th century), a military official at the camp.”
