| 서사가(徐四佳)가 오랫 동안 대제학(大提學)을 지냈으므로 동시대의 강진산(姜晉山 진산은 강희맹(姜希孟)의 봉호)ㆍ이양성(李陽城 양성은 이승소(李承召)의 봉호)ㆍ김영산(金永山 영산은 김수온(金守溫)의 봉호)과 같은 사람들은 모두 문형(文衡)을 주관하지 못하고 먼저 죽었다. 이양성의 제비를 읊은 시에
버들 푸른 골목에 동녘 바람 저물었고 / 綠楊門巷東風晩 풀 푸른 못가에 부슬비는 침침하네 / 靑草池塘細雨迷 라 한 구절은 당 나라 시인의 시구와 흡사하다. |

| Sŏ Kŏjŏng served as the Director of the Office of Royal Decrees (taejehak) for a long time, therefore, his contemporaries, such as Kang Hŭimaeng (choronym Chinsan), Yi Sŭngso (choronym Yangsŏng), and Kim Suon (choronym Yŏngsan), all died before they could get to the position of literary authority. These lines in Yi Sŭngso’s poem on magpies, 綠楊門巷東風晩靑草池塘細雨迷 In the lanes with green willows, east wind is late.On the pond with green plants, light rain is hazy. has the very image of a Tang poet. |
