國初之業。鄭郊隱，李雙梅最善。鄭之二月將闌三月來。一年春色夢中回。千金尙未買佳節。酒熟誰家花正開之作。不減唐人情處。李之神仙腰佩玉摐摐。束上高樓掛碧窓。入夜更彈流水曲。一輪明月下秋江之作。亦楚楚有趣。

Korean Translation
국초(國初)에는 정교은(鄭郊隱 교은은 정이오(鄭以吾)의 호)ㆍ이쌍매(李雙梅 쌍매는 이첨(李詹)의 호)의 시가 가장 훌륭했다. 정교은 시에 이월도 무르익어 삼월이 오려 하니 / 二月將闌三月來 한 해의 봄빛이 꿈속에 돌아오네 / 一年春色夢中回 천금으로도 가절은 살 수가 없으니 / 千金尙未買佳節 술 익는 뉘 집에서 꽃은 정히 피었는고 / 酒熟誰家花正開 라 한 시는 당인(唐人)의 아름다운 경지에도 뒤지지 않는다. 이쌍매의 신선이 차고 온 옥소리 쟁그랑쟁그랑 / 神仙腰佩玉摐摐 고루에 올라와서 벽창에 걸어놓고 / 來上高樓掛碧窓 밤 들어 다시금 유수곡을 타노라니 / 入夜更彈流水曲 한 바퀴 밝은 달이 가을 강에 내리누나 / 一輪明月下秋江 라고 한 시 역시 빼어난 아취가 있다.

English Translation

At the beginning of the dynasty, Chŏng Io and Yi Ch’ŏm were the best poets. Chŏng’s poem, 二月將闌三月來一年春色夢中回千金尙未買佳節酒熟誰家花正開 The second month is ending and the third month is nigh. To the spring colors of the year I return in my dream.A thousand pieces of gold still cannot buy a time of delight.The wine is ripe. Whose house has flowers in bloom?is not inferior to Tang poets’ good works. Yi’s poem, 神仙腰佩玉摐摐來上高樓掛碧窓入夜更彈流水曲一輪明月下秋江 Immortals donned in waist pendants with tinkling jadeascend the tall tower and hang them by jade windows. As night enters, they again play the tune “Flowing Water.”Under the bright moon disc runs an autumn river. is also clearly delightful (yuch’wi).
