| 前輩讀畢齋驪江所詠。十年世事孤吟裏。八月秋容亂樹間之句。然不若神勒寺所作。上方鍾動驪龍舞。萬竅風生鐵鳳翔之句。洪亮嚴重。此眞撑柱宇宙句也。其寶泉灘卽事曰。桃花浪高幾尺許。銀石沒頂不知處。兩兩鸕鶿失舊磯。銜魚却入菰蒲去。此最伉高。東京樂府。篇篇皆古。 |

| 이전 사람들은 점필재가 여강(驪江)에서 읊은,
십년간의 세상사는 홀로 읊는 시 속에 / 十年世事孤吟裏 팔월의 가을빛은 어지러운 숲 사이에 / 八月秋容亂樹間 라는 구절을 칭송해 왔다. 그러나 신륵사(神勒寺)에서 지은, 상방에서 종 울리니 여룡은 춤을 추고 / 上方鍾動驪龍舞 만 구멍에 바람 우니 철봉이 나래 치네 / 萬竅風生鐵鳳翔 라 한 구절의 홍량(洪亮)ㆍ엄중(嚴重)함만 같지 못하니 이는 참으로 우주를 버팀직한 시구이다. 그 보천탄즉사(寶泉灘卽事)에서는 복사꽃 띄운 물결이 몇 자나 높았는고 / 桃花浪高幾尺許 은석은 목까지 잠겨서 어딘지 모르겠네 / 銀石沒頂不知處 쌍쌍의 가마우지 여울돌을 잃고 / 兩兩鸕鶿失舊磯 물고기 물면 갈대숲으로 들어가네 / 銜魚却入菰蒲去 라 했는데 이는 가장 항고(伉高)하며, 《동경악부(東京樂府)》는 편편마다 모두 예스럽다. |

| The past generations have praised these lines in Kim Chongjik’s poem on the Yŏ River, 十年世事孤吟裏八月秋容亂樹間 Ten years of a life’s troublesare in my lonely poems. The eighth month autumn’s countenance is among the colorful trees.But it is not as good as the lines in the poem composed at Sillŭk Monastery, 上方鍾動驪龍舞萬竅風生鐵鳳翔 When the temple bell tolls, the black dragon dances.When the wind rises in ten thousand caves, the iron phoenix takes wings. Luminous (hongnyang) and solemn (ŏmjung), this truly is a phrase that can support the universe. His poem, “Poch’ŏn Beach: An Impromptu Verse” 寶泉灘卽事, 桃花浪高幾尺許銀石沒頂不知處兩兩鸕鶿失舊磯銜魚却入菰蒲去 Waves carrying peach blossoms, how tall are they?Silvery rocks have sunken to the top, so I can’t tell where they are.Pairs of cormorants have lost their footings.Holding the fish in their beaks, they enter the reedy marsh. is the loftiest (hanggo). Every poem in his Tonggyŏng akpu 東京樂府 (Music Bureau of the Eastern Capital) is classic (ko). |
