Classes
The Poetry Talks Ontology has 11 classes: Entry, Poem, Critique, Series, Book, Edition, Person, Place, Era, Critical Term, and Topic. Among them, Entry, Poem, and Critique belong to the Text super-class, comprising the actual texts and their translations, while Series, Book, and Edition belong to the Work super-class, comprising the texts' bibliographic information. The other classes provide context to the Texts and Works.

Datatype Properties
The Poetry Talks Ontology features 27 datatype properties groups into six super-properties: name, description, textContent, identifier, year, and GIS. Name properties include the names of the entities in various languages, description properties include the basic descriptions of each entity, textContent properties include the multilingual content for Text entities, identifier properties include the external ids for corresponding entities in other databases, year properties cover time-related information, and the single geography property covers GIS related information.

Object Properties
The Poetry Talks Ontology features 9 main object properties: hasType, hasPart, hasVersion, hasSubject, hasReference, hasContributor, hasEra, hasLocation, and isRelatedTo. Among them, hasType, hasSubject, and hasContributor have several sub-properties for more detailed querying, for a total of 22 object properties.
