我朝詩。至中廟朝大成。以容齋相倡始。而朴訥齋祥，申企齋光漢，金冲庵淨，鄭湖陰士龍。竝生一世。炳烺鏗鏘。足稱千古也。
국조(國朝)의 시는 중종조(中宗朝)에 이르러 크게 성취되었다. 용재 상공(容齋相公)이 시작을 열어 눌재(訥齋) 박상(朴祥)ㆍ기재(企齋) 신광한(申光漢)ㆍ충암(冲庵) 김정(金淨)ㆍ호음(湖陰) 정사룡(鄭士龍)이 일세(一世)에 나와 휘황하게 빛을 내고 금옥(金玉)을 울리니 족히 천고(千古)에 칭할 만하게 되었다.
Our dynasty’s poetry greatly flourished during the era of King Chungjong. Starting with Yi Haeng, poets Pak Sang, Sin Kwanghan, Kim Chŏng, and Chŏng Saryong, all appeared together within the span of a single generation and shone brightly and resounded deeply. Surely, they deserve to be praised throughout the ages.
