(16th century) was Yang Saŏn’s (sobriquet Pongnae [Penglai]) younger brother. He devoted himself to prose and poetry and was praised by Chŏng Saryong, but he suffered from Yang Saŏn’s frequent ridicule. The water recedes around angling rocks, and the birds leave their footprints. The mud is emptied from crab holes, and the reeds expose their roots.I heard he read Han Yu’s prosaic works four thousand times but could not become famous for his prose. We can understand his ability.
