A hero a thousand years ago, the spirit of the Chu hegemon, crosses the river without a face, only with a form.Regretting getting lost that yearon Yinling’s road,to the travelers he oftenpoints out the direction. They say this is a poem by a Korean person. But after seeing the poem in Tang Shunzhi’s edition of Shixue dacheng (Great Accomplishments in the Study of Poetry), I realized it was a Chinese person’s work. |
