The mirror-like water hangs high three thousand li above, cleansing the heart of Heaven and Earth for ten thousand years.Ch’a Ch’ŏllo’s poem reads, The twilight from the River of Stars penetrates the Three Realms. The clear glow of jade axe fills the Eight Directions. The language (ŏ) in both poems is unique and refreshing (kisang). I am yet to find a poem that surpasses them.
