楊士彦。月出峰詩曰。高懸水鏡三千里。一洗乾坤萬古心。車天輅詩曰。銀河曙色通三界。玉斧淸輝滿八都。語皆奇爽。未知孰勝 |

Yang Saŏn’s poem “Moonrise Peak” 月出峰 reads, 高懸水鏡三千里一洗乾坤萬古心 The mirror-like water hangs high three thousand li above,cleansing the heart of Heaven and Earth for ten thousand years.Ch’a Ch’ŏllo’s poem reads, 銀河曙色通三界玉斧淸輝滿八都 The twilight from the River of Stars penetrates the Three Realms.The clear glow of jade axe fills the Eight Directions. The language (ŏ) in both poems is unique and refreshing (kisang). I am yet to find a poem that surpasses them. |
