| A couplet “On the River Pavilion” 題江亭 by Sin Yonggae (sobriquet Irakchŏng [Two Joys Pavilion]) reads, 沙暖集群鳥江淸浮太陰 On the warm sand gather flocks of birds.On the clear river floats a big moon. Hong Yuson praised it saying, “This is a High Tang poem (sŏngdangun).” He received such recognition, but no more of his poetry and prose has been passed down to posterity. How could this be? |
