| When Hŏ Pong 許篈 (1551–1588; sobriquet Hagok [Lotus Valley]) was exiled to Kapsan, Hamgyŏng province, bidding farewell to his family and friends, he wrote, 深樹啼鴉薄暮時一壺來慰楚臣悲此生相見應無日直指重泉作後期 In the deep forest, a crow cries at dusk. A bottle of wine comes to comfort the sorrow of the Chu Minister. In this life, we will surely not see each other again.Let’s proceed straight to the underworldfor our next get-together.
