| Scholar Yang Sagi’s 楊士奇 (1531–1586) concubine was good at composing lyrics. When Yang was Magistrate (pusa) of P’ungch’ŏn, he went to Anak county and did not return. His concubine sent him a poem. 悵望長途不掩扉夜深風露濕羅衣楊山館裏花千樹日日看花歸未歸 Yearning in worry for you on a long journey, I do not close the bramble gate.Late night winds and dews drench my silk dress.At Yangsan’s guest house a thousand trees are in bloom.Day after day watching the flowers, will you return or not? Yangsan is another name for Anak. |
