詩或有一聯可傳者。如金相國貴榮。遊嶺南詩曰。紅樹万山頻駐馬。白雲千里獨登樓。康同知復誠詩曰。閑中有客惟僧子。病裡看書是藥方。洪參議慶臣詩曰。路長爲客久。夢短到家難。沈鴻山宗直詩曰。門掩專松影。床移壞竹陰。梁長城慶遇詩曰。雪逕纔通馬。風枝不受烏。權石洲鞸詩曰。谷虛人語響。橋側馬行危。是也
시는 혹 한 연만으로도 전해질 만하다. 예컨대 상국 김귀영의 '영남을 유람하며'시에, ""라 하였고, 동지 강복성의 시에, ""라 하였다. 참의 홍경신의 시에 ""라 하였고, 홍산 심종직의 시에 ""라 하였고, 장성 양경우의 시에 ""라 하였고, 석주 권필의 시에 ""라 한 것이 이와 같다.

Many a time, I pause my horse.White clouds stretch a thousand li. Alone, I climb the tower.Second Deputy Director (tongjisa) Kang Poksŏng’s 康復成 (1550–1634) poem, 閑中有客惟僧子病裏看書是藥方 In idle retreat, the only visitor I have are monks.In illness, the only books I read are prescriptions.Third Minister of Personnel (ch’amŭi), Hong Kyŏngsin’s 洪慶臣 (1557–1623) poem, 路長為客久夢短到家難 The journey is long, and I’ve been a traveler for long.My dream is short-lived, but heading home is difficult.Hongsan Prefect Sim Chongjik’s 沈宗直 (16th century) poem, 門掩專松影床移壤竹陰 I close the gate to focus on the pine’s shadow.I move the bed to join the bamboo’s shade.Changsŏng Prefect Yang Kyŏngu’s 梁慶遇 (b. 1568) poem, 雪徑才通馬風枝不受烏 Snowy paths are wide enough just for horses.Windy branches do not host the birds. and Kwŏn P’il’s 權鞸 (1569–1612; sobriquet Sŏkchu [Rock Islet]) poem, 谷虛人語響橋側馬行危 In an empty valley, human voices echo.On an uneven bridge, horses travel precariously.
