Assistant Prefect (p’an’gwan) Yi Hugŭn’s 李厚根 I hear the Diamond Mountainsis the best of the three mythical mountains.Cloud hills gather around jade swords.Rocky valleys resound with jade zithers.Since you love leisurely travel, you should be a guest in its midst.I wish to travel with you,but I am tied to my gruelling petty office.Feathered carriage I cannot climb. This is the difference between immortals and worldlings.Twelve thousand peaks,How colorful will their twilight mists and clouds be!One by one, write a new poem. When you return, tell them to me. It is a good (sŏn) poem.
