成斯文某爲楊州牧使。畜一妓名梅花。沈惑發衙。崔慶昌贈詩曰。官橋雪霽曉寒多。小吏門前候早衙。莫恠使君常晏出。醉開東閣賞梅花。盖用何遜事以譏之
사문 성모(成義國)가 양주 목사가 되었을 때 매화라는 이름의 기생을 두었다. 깊이 빠져서 관청 업무를 잊곤 하였다. 최경창이 시를 주었다. "" 대개 하손의 고사를 용사하여 그를 조롱한 것이다.
A certain scholar with surname Sŏng was Magistrate of Yangju, Kyŏnggi province. He cherished a kisaeng named Plum Blossom, and deeply infatuated, he neglected governance. Ch’oe Kyŏngch’ang presented him with a poem that reads, 官橋雪霽曉寒多小吏門前候早衙莫怪使君常晏出醉開東閣賞梅花 The snow on yamen bridge has melted, and the morning is very cold.A petty official by the gate awaits the morning court.Don’t blame that the magistrate is often away at banquets. Drunk, he opens the eastern kiosk and admires the plum blossoms. Ch’oe probably was alluding to the story of He Xun 何遜 (468–518) to mock him.
