姜克誠。以弘文館修撰。在罷散中。有詩曰。朝衣典盡酒家眠。賜馬將謀數頃田。珍重國恩猶未報。夢和殘月獨朝天。明廟聞而賞嘆。特命收敍。盖異數也

English Translation
After completing his term as Sixth Counselor (such’an) in the Office of Special Advisors (Hongmun’gwan), Kang Kŭksŏng wrote the following poem, 朝衣典盡酒家眠賜馬將謀數頃田珍重國恩猶未報夢和殘月獨朝天 Money from the pawned official robe was used up to pay for my stays at taverns.With the conferred horse, I plan to purchase several acres of land.Precious favor from the state, I am yet to repay.In dream, like a crescent moon,I behold Heaven alone. When King Myŏngjong heard the poem, he praised it and issued a special order to employ Kang with courteous reception.
