English Translation
When Kang Yunjŏng 姜允精 (n.d.), a humble scholar, was young, he gained renown for his poetry. In vain the energy of thousands was wasted, designed for a three-month-long conflagration. His poem “Listening to the Bamboo Flute at Mt. The setting moon has not yet set over the boundless river.A distant tune carries on amid the sound of the cold tide. These poems were widely recited (chŏnsong) by the forest of scholars.
