| 정승 김귀영(金貴榮)이 영남(嶺南) 관찰사로 나갔을 때 그 거제현루(巨濟縣樓)의 시는 이러하다.
붉은 단풍 가득한 만산에 자주 말을 멈추고 / 紅樹萬山頻駐馬 흰 구름 천 리에 홀로 누에 오르누나 / 白雲千里獨登樓 가을을 슬퍼함과 어버이를 생각하는 뜻이 아울러 나타나 있다. |

| When Minister Kim Kwiyŏng 金貴榮 (1519–1593) received a royal appointment and traveled to Kyŏngsang province, he composed “A Poem on a Tower in Kŏje County” 巨濟縣樓詩, which reads, 紅樹萬山頻駐馬白雲千里獨登樓 Red trees fill the mountains. Many a time, I pause my horse.White clouds stretch a thousand li. Alone, I climb the tower.The poem conveys the message (ŭi) of the melancholy of autumn and his yearning for family. |
