金文簡公佔畢齋成化丙申乞郡。得善山。時公大病之後不便騎馬。予陪侍舟行抵驪州。解纜以微服登淸心樓看詩板。有問之者。使對以金生員之行。旣下。日已曛黑。投甓寺。寺僧齋祝手三門外。喝退雜人。公遂不入。還舟中賦詩二篇。一贈主持僧。一寄州半刺。其詩十年世事孤吟裡。八月秋容亂樹間之句。任西河見之曰。此等語決非今人所能道。過鳥嶺詩曰。天嶺分符去。峰頭凍暎空。會稽懷印返。澗底葉翻紅。魏闕趨蹌遠。高堂笑語融。悠悠十年內。不做獲禽功。一二聯用扇對法。

문간공 점필재 김종직이 성화 병신년(1476)에 군수직을 청하여 선산으로 가게 되었다. 이 때 공은 큰 병을 앓은 후라 말 타기가 불편하여, 내가 모시고 배로 가서 여주에 도착했다. 닻을 내리고 미복으로 청심루에 올라 시판을 보았는데, 묻는 이가 있어 김생원의 행차라 대답하였다. 이미 내려오자 날이 어둑해졌다. 신륵사에 들어가려 하니 절의 승려가 삼문의 밖에서 재를 올리며 잡인들을 물리쳤다. 공이 마침내 들어가지 않고 배로 돌아가서 시 두 편을 지었다. 하나는 주지승에게 주는 것이고, 하나는 주의 태수에게 부치는 것이었다. 그 시에, ""라는 구절이 있었다. 서하 임원준이 이를 보고 말하기를 "이런 류의 말은 결코 오늘날 사람들이 할 수 있는 것이 아니다"라고 했다. '조령을 넘으며' 시에 ""라 하였으니, 첫째 둘째 연은 선대법(扇對法)을 사용한 것이다.

In the year of pyŏngsin during the Shenghua reign (1476; Sŏngjong 7), Kim Chongjik (sobriquet Chŏmp’ilchae [Bamboo Slip Writing Studio]) requested a prefectural position and was appointed to Sŏnsan prefecture, Kyŏngsang province. At the time, he had just recovered from a serious illness. making travel on horseback inconvenient for him. I accompanied him on a boat to Yŏju, Kyŏnggi province. There, we untied our boat and changed into plain clothing to be incognito. We ascended Chŏngsim Tower and examined the poetry plaques in place. If anyone asked, he had me answer that we were the party of a certain licentiate Kim. By the time we came down, the sun had already set, and it was dark. We sought a temporary lodging at the Brick Monastery. The monks had a ritual table set up outside the main gate and scolded any outsiders wanting to enter. Kim chose not to enter. On the return boat, he composed two poems. He presented one to the abbot of the monastery and the other to a provincial clerk. His poem contained the following lines, 十年世事孤吟裏八月秋容亂樹間 Ten years of my life’s hardshipsare in my lonely poems. The eighth-month autumn’s countenance is among the wild trees.When Im Wŏnjun read it, he said, “Words like these most certainly not what people nowadays utter.” His poem “Passing Bird Hill” 過鳥嶺 reads, 天嶺分符去峯頭凍暎空會稽懷印返澗底葉飜紅魏闕趨蹌遠高堂笑語融悠悠十年內不做獲禽功 Passing Ch’ŏllyŏng upon the king’s order,frozen mountain peaks glitter in sunlight. Holding the official seal of Kuiji, I return home. At the ravine’s bottom, leaves are turning red.Hurried steps within the palace gates are now far from me.I will now join the cheerful talks at the grand hall.Ten long years have passed,but I have no merit of capturing any game. The first two couplets use the “Fan Matching Technique.”
