| 崔盅齋淑生。義州聚勝亭詩。馬蹄西海到窮陲。百尺危亭近紫微。且倚雕欄看勝景。不敎珠箔障晴暉。江橫鴨綠兼天淨。柳暗鵝黃着雨肥。忽憶玉堂身萬里。蓬萊何處五雲飛。退休蘇相公令余讀題板。至此篇。公點頭曰。此老詩可謂成章。然曺梅溪偉詩。雄藩自古壯邊陲。新搆華亭對翠微。絶域雲烟醉眼。層城花柳媚春暉。山圍廣野靑如畫。雨過長江綠漸肥。叵耐登臨還望遠。歸心日夜正南飛。以余管見。曺詩豈下盅齋哉。 |

말굽 같은 서해가 막다른 모퉁이에 이르렀는데 / 馬蹄西海到窮陲 백척 높은 정자 자미(북두의 북쪽 별)에 닿을 듯 / 百尺危亭近紫微 난간에 기대어 좋은 경치 바라보며 / 且倚雕欄看勝景 구슬발이 밝은 햇빛을 가리지 말라 하네 / 不敎珠箔障晴暉 가로지른 압록강이 하늘에 닿아 있고 / 江橫鴨綠兼天暉 버들개지 노랗게 비 맞아 살쪘구나 / 柳暗鵝黃着雨肥 문득 옥당을 생각하니 이 몸 만리 밖에 있는데 / 忽憶玉堂身萬里 봉래산 어느 곳에 오색 구름 나는고 / 蓬萊何處五雲飛 하였는데, 퇴휴당 소정승이 나에게 현판의 시를 읽게 하고 이 한 편에 이르러 공이 고개를 끄덕이며, “이 늙은이의 시는 시다운 시라고 할 만하다.” 하였다. 그러나 매계(梅溪) 조위(曺偉)의 시에, 웅번 예부터 변방에 건장한데 / 雄藩自古壯邊陲 새로 지은 정자 산허리에 마주 섰네 / 新搆華亭對翠微 절역(멀리 떨어져 있는 땅)의 구름 안개 취한 눈에 들어오고 / 絶域雲煙來醉眼 성 마루에 핀 꽃버들은 봄빛을 자랑하네 / 層城花柳媚春凈 산을 두른 넓은 들 그림같이 푸르고 / 山圍廣野靑如畫 비 지난 긴 강은 푸르기가 더하네 / 雨過長江綠漸肥 참지 못하여 정자에 올라 멀리 바라보니 / 叵耐登臨還望遠 고향 생각 밤낮 없이 남쪽으로 날아가네 / 歸心日夜正南飛 하였는데, 나의 좁은 소견으로 본다면 조위의 시가 어찌 충재만 못하겠는가. |

Minister So ordered me to read aloud the poems on the plaques. When I got to this poem, he nodded and said, “This old man’s poem deserves to be called a mature composition (sŏngjang).”However, Cho Wi wrote a matching poem that reads, 雄藩自古壯邊陲新搆華亭對翠微絶域雲烟來醉眼層城花柳媚春暉山圍廣野靑如畫雨過長江綠漸肥叵耐登臨還望遠歸心日夜正南飛 Since ancient times, this grand domainhas had formidable frontiers.A decorated pavilion was just built,facing the azure hills.Misty clouds of distant landsenter my drunken eyes.Flowers and willows of the mountain fortressflaunt their spring glow.The open field encircled by mountainsis green like a painting.After the rain passes over the long river, verdure grows darker.I couldn’t help but ascend the pavilion and gaze afar.My homebound heart, day and night, only soars to the south.
