大明蘇福。八歲作初一夜月詩云。氣朔盈虛又一初。孀娥底事半分無。却於無處分明有。恰似先天太極圖。年十四而卒。
Korean Translation
명 나라의 소복(蘇福)이 8세 때에 초하룻날 밤 달을 보고 지은 시에,

기운이 초하루에 차고 비어 다시 시작하니 / 氣朔盈虛又一初 달의 밑쪽이 절반이나 없구나 / 嫦娥底事半分無 없는 곳에 분명 있으니 / 却於無處分明有 하늘이 생기기 이전의 태극도와 같구나 / 恰似先天太極圖 하였는데, 그는 14세에 죽었다.

English Translation
1. When Su Fu 蘇福 (1372–1385) of the Ming dynasty was eight years old, he composed “The Moon in the Night of New Year’s Day” 初一夜月. The poem goes as follows: 氣朔盈虛又一初嫦娥底事半分無却於無處分明有恰似先天太極圖 The solar cycle and lunar cycle,then comes the first day again. Oh, Goddess Moon! Why are youmissing half of yourself?But where there is nothing, there clearly is something,just like the time before Heavenin the Diagram of the Great Ultimate. He died at the age of fourteen.
