허리 사이에 칼이 있으니 어찌 청할 필요가 있으랴 / 腰間有釰何須請 지하에 사람이 없더라도 또한 족히 놀 만하리라 / 地下無人亦足遊 애석하다. 한 나라 조정의 괴리령은 / 可惜漢庭槐里令 평생에 오직 아첨하는 신하의 머리만 알았도다 / 一生唯識佞臣頭 하였는데, 고금(古今)에 주운을 읊은 자가 이런 생각이 없었으니, 비록 당(唐)ㆍ송(宋)의 문집 속에 넣더라도 부끄러움이 없을 것이다. 정덕 신사년에 용재(容齋)가 멀리 당태사(唐太史) 고(皐)를 의주(義州)에서 영접하는데, 태사가 법도가 있어서 말도 경솔히 하지 않았다. 정주(定州)에 이르러 용재가 같이 앉아 있는 자리에서 속필(速筆)로, 태사가 지은 음락(飮酪)에 대한 절구(絶句) 네 수(首)에 차운(次韻)하니, 태사가 이를 보고 “참으로 노련한 솜씨다.”라 하였다. |

Yi Haeng’s poem “Zhu Yun” 朱雲 reads, 腰間有劍何須請地下無人亦足游可惜漢庭槐里令一生唯識佞臣頭 A man with a sword around his waist.Why did they have to hire him?Even in the underworld, there is nonewho is fit to be his friend.Alas! In the Han court,there was the Magistrate of Huailiwho lifelong only soughtthe heads of treacherous officials!Among all the poems on Zhu Yun, past and present, no such idea (ŭisa) is found. This poem deserves to be included in the collected works of Tang and Song. In the sinsa year of the Zhengde reign (1521; Chungjong 16), Yi traveled far to Ŭiju to greet the Hanlin Academician Tang Gao. Tang was reserved. When they arrived at Chŏngju, Yi promptly composed on the spot four quatrains matching Tang’s poem “Drinking Milk Porridge” 飮酪. Reading the poems, Tang said, “Truly consummate skills (nogwŏn)!” |
