趙龍門少時。泛舟於漢江。諸文士多會之者。命作詩曰。靑山面面立。漢水悠悠下。峩洋山水間。誰是知音者。一座驚歎。
조용문(趙龍門 이름은 욱(昱))이 젊었을 때에, 한강에서 뱃놀이를 하는데 여러 문사들이 많이 모였었다. 그에게(조용문) 시를 지으라고 하였더니, 청산은 면면이 섰고 / 靑山面面立 한수는 유유히 흐르네 / 漢水悠悠下 아양한 산수 속에 / 峩洋山水間 뉘 지음하는 사람일까 / 誰是知音者 이에 온 좌석이 경탄하였다.
When Cho Uk was cruising the Han River as a child, the scholars gathered there ordered him to write a poem. He said, 靑山面面立漢水悠悠下峩洋山水間誰是知音者 Green mountains stand all around.The Han River flows down with ease.Amidst the lofty mountains and vast waters,who would know my tune? Everyone exclaimed in amazement.
