襄陽南數里。有石立路傍。諺傳。昔一按廉酷愛州妓。臨遞別妓。作詩題于石曰。汝石何時石。吾人今世人。不知離別苦。獨立幾經春。或云咸傅林所作。

Korean Translation
양양(襄陽)에서 남쪽으로 몇 리 떨어진 곳 길가에 입석(立石)이 있는데 항간에 전하는 말로는, “옛날에 한 안렴사(按廉使) 주기(州妓)를 몹시 사랑하다가 체직(遞職)이 되어 이별하게 되자 시를 지어 돌에 쓰기를, 너는 어느 때 돌이냐 / 汝石何時石 나는 금세의 사람이로다 / 吾人今世人 이별의 괴로움도 모르는 채 / 不知難別苦 홀로 서서 몇 번이나 봄을 지내었던고 / 獨立幾經春 하였다.”하는데, 어떤 사람은 함부림(咸傅霖)이 지은 것이라고도 말한다.

English Translation

Several li south of Yangyang, Kangwŏn province, there stands a rock by the roadside. According to a legend, there was once a Surveillance Commissioner (allyŏm) who loved a local kisaeng. When the time came for them to part ways, he wrote a poem on this rock, 汝石何時石吾人今世人不知離別苦獨立幾經春 You, O rock! A rock from what time are you?We are the people of this generation.Not knowing the anguish of separation,how many springs have you endured, standing alone? Some attribute this poem to Ham Purim 咸傅霖 (1360–1410).
