金竹所光煜仁祖挽章曰。歷數中興主。功高漢以還。志存虞夏上。時值宋元間。屈策終全社。微權豈濟艱。朝宗一心在。靑史載斑斑。一篇皆妥適
Kim Kwanguk’s 金光煜 (1580–1656; sobriquet Chukso [Bamboo Place]) “A Eulogy to King Injo” 仁祖挽章 reads, 歷數中興主功高漢以還志存虞夏上時值宋元間屈策終全社微權豈濟艱朝宗一心在靑史載斑斑 Listed among the rulers who made the kingdom thrive,your achievements are greatest since the time of the Han. You kept the intent of Yao, Shun, and the rulers before them.Your reign befell the time between the Song and the Yuan. Adopting the policy of yielding, you preserved the state from beginning to end.With gentle authority, how did you relieve the people from hardships?With undivided hearts, your officials have come before you.Annals of history will pass on your traces. The poem is proper (t’ajŏk) as a whole.
