趙玄洲纘韓。玄谷緯韓兄弟。文才發越。詩則皆讓於石洲。而土泉。黃溪。述懷。等聯句。如出一手。實同昌黎之於郊籍也
Brothers, Cho Ch’anhan 趙纘韓 (1572–1631; sobriquet Hyŏnju [Dark Islet]) and Cho Wihan (sobriquet Hyŏn’gok [Dark Valley]), were widely known for their literary talent. But in poetry, they both succumbed to Kwŏn P’il. Their couplets, such as “T’och’ŏn”土泉, “Hwanggye” 黄溪, “Expressing My Thoughts” 述懷, appear as if coming from one hand. It is really similar to Han Yu’s relationship to Meng Jiao and Zhang Ji 張籍 (ca. 767–830).
