沈尚書詻為高山督郵時。柳塗為文川守。文川有同年生三名姝。而柳皆私之。沈過行。凋悵作詩。姝城二甲総名姬。太守風流亦一時。多少行人膓斷處。敎坊南畔柳如絲。甚有風調
When Minister Sim Aek 沈詻 (1571–1655) was County Administrator (togu) of Kosan, Yu To was Prefect of Munch’ŏn. In Munch’ŏn, there were three famous beauties born in the same year, and Yu took possession of all of them. When passing the prefecture, feeling downhearted, Sim wrote the following poem, 姝城三甲總名姬太守風流亦一時多少行人斷腸處教坊南畔柳如絲 Chusŏng’s top three beauties altogether became famous consorts.The prefect who likes to make merry with all of them at once. How many travelers have been gut-wrenching here?To the south of the kisaeng house are willows like silk. It is very charming (p’ungjo).
