學官朴枝華號守庵。詩與文皆高絶。常制駙馬光川尉挽詞。詩人鄭之升。稱引不已曰。若人。門地雖卑。於騷家地位。最高云。其詩曰。天孫河鼓本東西。嬴得人間五福齊。湯餠當年曾試玉。簫臺此日共乘鷖。諸郞秉禮廞儀擧。華館連雲象設迷。家在沁園相望地。不堪春草又萋萋 |

Education Official (hakkwan) Pak Chihwa (sobriquet Suam [Self-Guarding Hut]) was outstanding in both poetry and prose. He once wrote a eulogy poem for royal son-in-law Kim In’gyŏng 金仁慶 (1514–1583), and poet Chŏng Chisŭng could not stop praising it, saying, “Although he comes from a humble pedigree, as a poet he has the highest status.” The poem said, 天孫河鼓本東西贏得人間五福齊湯餅當年曾試玉簫台此日共乘鶩諸郎秉禮廒儀舉華館連雲像設迷家在沁園相望地不堪春草又萋萋 Weaver Maiden and Ox Herder came together from east and west.In the mortal world, you have won all five fortunes. That year a hot cake tested your beauty.Today at the Flute Tower together you ride on a phoenix.All attending the ceremony are in full mourning attire.At the splendid mansion reaching to the clouds, your image is faint. Your home was in Qin Garden, the place you both longed for. I cannot bear that spring grasses are luxuriant once again. |
