佔畢齋之詩。稱爲冠冕者。實非誇也。每誦其細雨僧縫衲。寒江客棹舟。則未嘗不服其精細。十年世事孤吟裡。八月秋客亂樹間。則未嘗不服其爽朗。風飄羅代盖。雨蹴佛天花。則未嘗不服其放遠也
점필재(佔畢齋 김종직(金宗直))의 시를 으뜸으로 친다 해도 이는 실로 과장된 것이 아니다. 가령 그의 시 가운데, 가랑비 오는데 승려는 옷을 깁고 / 細雨僧縫納 차가운 강물 위에 나그네 배 젓는구나 / 寒江客棹舟 라는 구절을 읊노라면 미상불 그 정세(精細)함에 탄복을 하게 되고, 또 십 년 세월 이 세상 일 홀로 읊으며 / 十年世事孤吟裏 중추 가절 나그네 되어 숲 사이를 서성이네 / 八月秋客亂樹間 이라는 구절을 감상하노라면 미상불 그 상랑(爽朗)함에 탄복을 하게 되며, 또 신라 시대 당간(幢竿)깃발 바람에 펄럭이고 / 風飄羅代蓋 부처 나라 꽃잎 위에 빗방울이 내리치네 / 雨蹴佛天花 라는 구절을 대하노라면 미상불 그 방원(放遠)함에 탄복을 하게 된다.

The eighth month autumn’s countenance is among the colorful trees.I cannot but succumb to its cool clarity (sangnang). 風飄羅代蓋雨蹴佛天花 Winds unfold the sun canopy from the Silla time. Rains pound on the flowers of Buddha’s paradise. I cannot but succumb to its extensive reach (pangwŏn).
